Odfjell Drilling invites WISTA members to an exclusive visit to the yard Semco Maritime – Hanøytangen (30 km from Bergen), where the Deepsea Stavanger will be in dry-dock for its 3rd class renewal.
Dry-docking is one of the most impressive and critical operations in the maritime industry. It involves bringing a massive semi-submersible rig into a dock, draining the water to expose its entire hull for thorough inspection, maintenance, and upgrades. This process ensures the rig remains safe, efficient, and ready for the next phase of its offshore operations.
Seeing a rig like Deepsea Stavanger out of the water is a rare opportunity that offers unique insights into the scale, engineering, and precision required to maintain these offshore giants.
Flexible Dates: Due to ongoing activities, the exact date in April will be confirmed a few days in advance. Interested members must fill out this registration form, and we will notify you as soon as the final date is set.
