Odfjell Drilling invites WISTA members to an exclusive visit to the yard Semco Maritime – Hanøytangen (30 km from Bergen), where the Deepsea Stavanger will be in dry-dock for its 3rd class renewal.
Dry-docking is one of the most impressive and critical operations in the maritime industry. It involves bringing a massive semi-submersible rig into a dock, draining the water to expose its entire hull for thorough inspection, maintenance, and upgrades. This process ensures the rig remains safe, efficient, and ready for the next phase of its offshore operations.
